beyond the shell
Most Hacker podcasts make us seem like wizards. We're not. We fight with our printer, forget plans with friends, and spend weeks rewriting the same exploit. We are regular people doing extraordinary things every day, and all it takes to join us is curiosity.

We're not.
We walk our dogs. Fight with our printers. Half-finish projects we swore we'd ship six months ago. We have bad days, kid stuff, shoulder injuries, partners who don't get what we do for a living. The narrative format hides all that. It collapses a life into a highlight reel and makes it look like a destination instead of a Tuesday.
So this show features primarily voicemails. Brain dumps from people in our world about whatever's on our minds. War stories from the last engagement. The hallway track at last weekend's con. The CTF flag that took three days. Cool projects. Boring projects. Things we're proud of. Things we're scared of. The vendor that won't return our emails. Family. Hobbies that have nothing to do with infosec. Roadtrips. Whatever you want.
Call the line. Talk for up to ten minutes. Record your handle and say what you do, or hit the option to stay anonymous and the line scrambles your voice. I pick the ones that feel right and put them out as episodes.
If you've ever heard one of us on a stage and thought "I could never do that," I'm sure plenty of us thought that too and just did it scared. Listen in, learn, do cool stuff, and when you're ready......
